
In modern architectural design, selecting building materials based on the neighboring context is helpful in achieving harmony and cohesion within the environment.

The angular form of this project, designed in response to site constraints, stands out uniquely against the surrounding homes. To integrate the project with the existing neighborhood fabric, we chose Cedar shingles and lap siding for the exterior.

Cedar shingles and lap siding have long been integral to traditional architectural design. Incorporating these time-honored materials into contemporary architectural projects can introduce a refreshing dynamic, resulting in visually compelling and distinctive structures.
