This week, we’re showcasing a traditional home that needed modern updates and more space. We designed a formal entryway, added a new mudroom, reimagined the primary suite, and opened up the west wall to capture stunning mountain views.

New Entry Space
To create a much-needed entryway, we re-purposed a portion of the front porch. This allowed us to incorporate a built-in bench with shoe storage below and cubbies above. The paneling was meticulously crafted to match the existing home's original character.

Deck - after
The existing uncovered deck was in poor condition and required replacement. In the new design, we chose an open-style railing and integrated an automated shade arbor for enhanced functionality and comfort.

The primary bedroom was extended to the west to create additional space, featuring a triple sliding door to showcase the stunning mountain views.
